When things become scattered and overwhelming I look so forward to my meditation times during the day. I use a variety of different practices and techniques but currently I find myself spending more and more time in this particular practice. This powerful practice was first introduced to me through A Course in Miracles (ACIM) and has grown and evolved into a personalized version that I use almost daily.
I find tensions to be running high at the moment. A lot of us are struggling to work through the emotions and challenges of differences and polarizations that we are witnessing on unprecedented levels, amongst our friends, our family members and the greater arena of society.
It can be difficult when faced with strong reactions and strong presentations of difference to step back and find opportunities to be in moments of oneness instead of separation: to remind ourselves that no matter what we are perceiving in front of us, no matter how tempting it is to see difference and act on difference, the truth of our innate spirit is that we share the same consciousness and same source of light.
Today I made an impromptu recording of myself walking through this practice. I have found this practice to be so helpful for me, maybe there will be an element in here that supports you as well.
Wishing you Love and Light.
